I believe Gavin has. I have been fortunate enough to have been invited to 'Arnies Gym' on several occasions now and I truly believe he will become of of the best coaches this country has produced. His love and dedication to the sport as either a Fighter or trainer are second to none. One of my best mates is really good mates with him and all the man does is train his fighters, go home and search the internet for news or techniques on how to improve his lads. He readily admits that he wasn't the most technical boxer yet states that none of his boxers will make the same mistake. I believe the crop he has there will all do something at and above domestic level.

Farnell seems to have a lot of energy and enthusiasm as a young trainer. I think thats the main thing with a kid like Gavin. You ain't gonna teach Gavin how to throw a jab. It's like teaching Ronaldo how to play football, or dive. The main thing is to keep him focused and motivated because he can go off the rails and start popping pills and getting hammered. He's on track at the minute looking at how patient and focused he was.

Jimmy Tibbs is a well regarded trainer so I can't argue with that.

Not sure about DeGale's to be honest. I don't know what McDonnell did for Williams.

you are so wrong regarding farnell in the corner that night dglass jaw.corolla had a blood disorder or something like that at the time and his body was lifeless,so you can hardly fault anthony who was giving the correct advice but corolls's body wasn't responding to what the brain was telling it,so easy to fault the coach when you don't know the full story

Well IMO Saunders and Gavin made good choices, especially Saunders, Tibbs has worked with many great fighters.

as for Degale he has made a bad pick, Mcdonnell is nothing more than a conditioning coach, sure he'll get you in the shape of your life but skillwise he doesn't know much.
