I think they have. pac and floyd received stick for their victories over cotto and jmm.

but both gave great performances against top class welterweights coming off career best performances. neither were expected to dominate but both did.

they have shown they are a class above the other welters and now there really is only each other left in that division.

    Of course it did.

This fight has to happen. I'm now thinking this fight might do over 3 million PPV buys. It just has to happen.

The fight can't get any bigger. PBF showing some balls and passing a huge test and Pacman dominating maybe the biggest and most rugged WW out there. The time is now.

Naw man, they diminished it. Now, if they lost to Mosley and Clottey, man it woulda been huge. And can you imagine if they never won a fight, ****, son, that would make 4 mil buys easy.

Mosley yes, I don't think Clottey did anything for Pacquiao's resume so I don't think beating him has made the fight bigger.

The victory over clottey did nothing. Casual fans don't even know who clottey is. Any time i hear that fight brought up in a bar or a barber shop he is refered to as "that guy that pacquiao fought" hell the stadium had more significance than the opponent

yes but not because they won good fights. Mosley had a name but apart from round 2 was nothing great. So everyone wants to see the long awaited bout. If it turns out to be dull too, then boxing has had it and we really need the heavy weight division to make a comeback.
