I had completely forgotten that the Macho Man had passed on and was reading up on him the other day. Very sad he left us so early. How do we think he and Lomachecko do at lightweight? Macho is a hard one to define. He really was the Macho Man when he was young, but after the Rosario fight he changed and never wanted to be hit. He developed an almost uncanny ability to do just enough to win, often by split decision. He managed a lot of great sounding wins, but they were universally against guys who were mostly done like Mancini, Leonard, and Duran. He always sold the fights, though. We all know that Lomo has the mad skills, but does he have experience against guys equal to prime Ramirez and Rosario? Could he rise to that occasion? Discuss.
