I've given up on any optimistic fantasies of Haye fighting regularly and creating some entertainment in the division. Simply isn't active and not giving himself the chances he needs to improve as a fighter. The start of it was the year off after the Barrett fight. If he fights someone quality i will be pleased and tuning in, but my hopes are set low for now.

Should be fighting no less than 3 times a year.

This is what scares me though, he loves the celebrity he has gained since beating Valuev and attetntion he gets from the general public. The general public of the UK havent heard of Adamek, Arreola, Chagaev, Solis or any other contender. They have all heard of Harrison, I think that fight may actually raise his profile again amongst the general population in the UK...

 

Remember Haye said he's "been busy". Now we know what he was talking about
