Have we seen the last hall of fame level heavyweight until ten or more years pass?

Wlad and Vitali are locks. Right now no one seems to be on the horizon. Things can change quickly however.

5 years is plenty of time from now....he could beat wladimir, wilder, Fury and Haye, and defend 7-8 times against others like parker, ruiz since he is active and retire undefeated as a world and Olympic champ.

    Talent is one thing.

I have been extremely disappointed by Wilder's cherry picking non-top ten types, who have been exposed a few times for his title defenses.

Joshua's first two title defenses were essentially sparring sessions vs. very limited guys, also not close to the top ten. Yeah, he fights Wlad next but at age 41 with inactivity, it won't really boost his stock much if he wins.

If this is the new standard, then the hall of fame might as well close its doors to the next wave. Parker, Ortiz, Povetkin and others need title shots to define whoever is the #1 guy.

This heavyweight belt milking has to stop. It's damaging the entire sport. I used to be excited for 90% of all heavyweight title fights. These days, not so much.
