With Oliver you just never know, he doesn't fight often, but when he does he can spring some surprise upsets.. He has made one off fight abroad and won against decent fighters in thier own back yards.. Sinan Samil sam... saleta, Lewis... then he sucked it all up on the Lewis v Rahman 2 card before beating Akinwande in the last round.. Oliver is a strange cat, and i have no doubt before he fights some up coming guy in germany and set his record straight.... No its not the last , he is not built like that, as long as he is fit , he will put the gloves on here and there.. Like Akinwande and Hide i suppose... legends from the late 80's........
Don't know man... he IS a bit old now, if he still has it I'd love to watch him again. I always did. :bbb
Oliver gave me some of the more amusing moments ever.. I heard stories of a certain boxing manager i can't name ( ha ha ha) who went into a toilet of a well known hotel, and heard a man in a toilet cubical ..struggling and pushing , almost yehlling out in pain to do what you do in there.. and after a few minutes of verbal assault on the porcelein, he finally emerged .. red faced but releived , it was McCall. probably trying to make weight.. LOL LOL.. another story was from after a major fight event , Oliver had returned to his room and ordered drinks and then decided to go out into the hotel landing quietly to get a bucket of ice for his refreshments.. Unfortunately he forgot his room key and the door closed locking him out on a high level floor in only a pair of very skimpy briefs.. Downstairs the party was still happening , as hundreds of boxing people , dignitaries , fans, managers , fighters , press people and groupies filled the lobby, McCall appeared to ask for a fresh room key.. I heard he made a massive stir... OLiver actually continued to party for almost a half hour in just his underwear... unbeleivable...
