If Arum would have agreed to the contract Mayweather offered, Mayweather would have resigned with Arum and we would have gotten all these in house fights. This contract was offered directly after the Judah fight. Mayweather fought Baldomir since he was beefing with Arum over money.

Looking back Mayweather was right, he ended up making 15mil vs Hatton when he was only looking for 10mil. He only wanted 10mil for Cotto imagine what he would have made with that one. Imagine what Arum would have made promoting both.

Baldomir was more known by casuals because he defeated big name guys Judah who was rated as the top WW and Gatti. He also didn't lose at WW in 10yrs and was on a 18 fight win streak he had way more going for him then Margarito. Nobody cared about Margarito until it was stated that Mayweather turned down 8mil to fight him. Then people started to pay attention which was smart promoting by Arum. Margarito won a vacant belt vs Antonio Diaz, fought nobodys for 3yrs lost to Daniel Santos at 154 knocked out Cintron. Then after Mayweather fought Baldomir Margarito upped his comp to Clottey who he was losing too until Clottey broke his hand, lost to Paul Williams. Knocked out Cintron again and probably cheated vs Cotto maybe even Cintron as well. Then got his head caved in by Mosley and Pac.

Take away a broken hand and loaded gloves and Margo loses to Clottey, Williams, Cotto, Mosley and Pac.

I'm focusing on ther real champion, the lineal champion. I don,t care about alphabet chambio... Baldomir was the real champion, Gatti was a papar champion

According with The Ring Magazine Mosley was #3 p4p before the Mayweather fight.

It doesn't matter today. Being a lineal champ doesn't make you any better then a paper champ. It all depends on who you've fought and what you've done. WOUld you ranke Baldomir higher then Gatti just because of thagt belt?

As I said, 1 big win in 6-7 years is all he had. Besides, P4P means nothing really.

    Not really.

I mean he's had some good wins but I expect more from someone with the talent and skills of Mayweather.

And his inactivity since the end of 2007. Ugh.
