Inspirationally thats an easy one .

Margarito - Cotto , Marg was hit with huge bombs from 1 - 6 all be it Cotto going backwards was still landing huge shots , he took them and was in his face and just broke his spirit , awesome !!!!!!

In the words of Kellerman " a modern day classic "

when roy jones jr got beat up by calzaghe i felt bad and lost a lot of respect for calzaghe, i was fine w him taunting roy in the beginning but when he had clearly already won the fight by the 7th round there was no need to keep taunting up until the very last second

I felt for both Vazzy and Marquez at times during their trilogy. . . I thought those guys were going to kill each other in several instances

Corrales/Castillo was still one of the most moving performances I can remember though, especially now that Corrales is gone and how much bigger it's become in summarizing the type of fighter he was

Seeing Tyson get KO'ed by Douglas and Jones KO'ed by Tarver are two results that still scar me to this day. . . to think either man could have been KO'ed at the time was just something that didn't really process with me until well after it actually happened

Lewis vs Vitali is always a stirring watch for me, whoever you had winning at the time of stoppage you gotta agree it was a cinematic quality.

Recently, Angullo-Tsurkan, I along with Jim Lampley was yelling at my screen imploring Andrey to go down or for his corner to throw the towel, I felt as if I was watching a man being beaten to death.

Also, through Mosley's complete domination of Margarito I found myself somehow filling up with pride (not like I had anything to do with the outcome, but still) even though I had wagered on Margarito.

I almost shed a tear when I was watching Corrales get beat up by Clottey. Also when Baldomir beat up on an old Gatti.

Diego Corrales after his run when he beat Casamayor, Freitas, and Castillo. One of the best runs by a boxer in awhile. He fought and beat the best fighters at the weight class. It was an amazing run.

The most recent fight I can think of in a positive light was Carlos "El Famoso" Hernandez against Vincente Escobedo. If Hernandez lost he said he'd retire...so sure enough he's knocked down two times in the first three rounds and looks on his way to a stoppage loss. Somehow El Famoso rallied back and while he lost, he gave a tremendously tough account for himself...fitting when you consider the kind of warrior Hernandez was during his better days. Watching the last round was a fitting tribute as the old warrior passed the torch to the young warrior, giving and taking with one eye nearly shut due to Escobedo's powerful snapping jab. It didn't make me cry or anything but it put a smile on my face, something boxing fails to do as often as it should.

In a NEGATIVE light, watching Calzaghe vs RJJ was close to uncomfortable. I wasn't happy with the fight when it was announced. I thought Calzaghe didn't need this fight, RJJ didn't need this fight for anything other than a quick pay day where he could get hurt. Still like a sap, I watched an encore of it after avoiding the live showing....and watching RJJ flirt with something potentially great from rounds 1 to 3 pretty much got my hopes up. Then RJJ proceeds to get dismantled in a fashion far worse than anything that Tarver or Johnson did and ruined the rest of my day.
