Have you ever had your opinions changed on here?

    A big moment for me was a thread about Leonard and Mayweather's respective resumes and achievements. My knee jerk reaction is Leonard is by far the greater fighter. But even though it was agony I have to admit some of the arguments in Floyd's favour did open my eyes. While I still feel Ray is the greater P4P and H2H it is much closer in my mind than it was before and I am more willing to feel I am viewing SSL's career through rose tinted specs!

    I also have taken on board a lot of the criticisms of Larry Holmes, if not as a fighter then of his title reign. While I feel some critics on here have a bit of an axe to grind (I feel it is a case of an underrated champ subsequently being a bit overrated to make up for it and then a backlash) and maybe overstate the quality of who he didn't fight, I agree that considering how much he seemed to grumble about not being accepted Larry didn't help himself that much, for example not unifying and not fighting some obvious contenders.

    Yes for years i had Jack Johnson as no 3 all time heavyweight behind Ali and Louis.Since being on here i now believe its either Lewis or Holmes. can`t make my mind up

    I definitely appreciate Ezzard Charles more because of this place, before I had only seen the name and always held Marciano's fights with Walcott in higher regard, but now I have replaced Foreman with Charles on my heavyweights list

    Different Strokes For Different Folks I say. I have my opinions and everyone should have theirs, that is why we have the Like feature. We are not here to change the minds of others but to listen and form our own opinions, we are adult men. Those fighter that we favor do not care either way about our opinions, most of them are deceased or we have never met them, just pure speculation and opinions. I have learned to let others form their own opinion recently, I am not perfect but I am learning to accept others opinions.

    Yes, absolutely. There is often healthy debate and members who thoughtfully and articulately portray their opinions. There are a number of members who have such brilliant insight and historical knowledge they deserve to hold a PhD of sweet science.

    I had my conviction changed with the Bud -Spence fight. For some time I gave Pimp C some stick for calling Bud Crawford " The Cold Eyed Assassin " I couldn't see that in him Until The Spence fight. That's EXACTLY what Bud looked like. He beat down Errol Spence with a dead pan face & cold cold eyes!!!
    I was forced to apologize to Pimp C he was right all along Bud Crawford is The Cold Eyed Assassin!!!.
    Errol tried his best he was no match on the night plus I do think his trainer let him take more punishment than he needed to. I sincerely hope he is OK
