I mean you picked the right guy, your guy won but the judges gave it to the other - and there you go, you've got ripped off... I rarely bet on fights but I had a few one and I had some really furious moments: My money was on Jirov in the Mesi fight... I actually scored the fight in favor of Jirov (by 1 point) after the KDs. But you can't say that I saw the fight that way because of the bet, just read on! I had GOOD MONEY on Miranda in the Abraham fight, and boy I was happy when the bone-cracking punch made Arthur look 10 times uglier than Quasimodo! Still, the way Abraham fought back to actually win the fight (on my cards as well! It was not the scoring that was controversial) made me quite happy despite losing money... what a fight and what a fighter! I came close to become a fan of his that night... But if the referee had stopped the fight, I would've won good money... The other time when it was close but I pulled it off was the Chagaev-Valuev fight. Easy win but the judges almost gave it to Nico... But I saved the best one for last: I had money of Felix Sturm in the De La Hoya fight! I suppose I don't need any comment on that! :hi: Any of you guys in the same situation?
i rarely bet on boxing but i did fancy ngoudjo to beat malignaggi, he was a live underdog imo. i scored the fight 115-113 ngoudjo. then i found out there were 3 american judges and the ref was also american. i was not happy.
atsch Well I didnt win the 50 bucks I should have won on the first LL HOLY fight ! The guy I bet laughed his ass off at me !:yep
Never lost money on a fight that was CLEARLY given away. I did lose some money on Marquez this last weekend, and I scored the fight for him, but it was a close one so it doesn't really count
i lost cash on Vic vs Gorres... i felt Vic did enough to win it considering he scored two uncredited KD's
