-Re: Very cool footage of Walcott outpointing the 6'3 Hoff
I believed Jersy Joe Walcott fought at the very turn of the century and retired between 1910-1919.

    The response:

Charles actually fought Walcott sever times, as late as 1951 and Walcott got the better of him by some margin.

The last one is I thought Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson were the exact same person, who just had two different names.

    Now what are yours?

I make ****-ups all the time.

Biggest gaff was when I (for god knows whatever reason) though Hearns-Leonard 1 was in the late 70's, and not the early 80's. Doesn't sound bad but the way I was going off, made me look a right pleb

Once when I was pissed outta my nut in my local, I was convinced that ODH vs Vargas was a re-match. I was so sure I bet £50 quid with a gezzer. I was convinced. Fair play I paid up but I've never lived it down. The guy was a right Twat as well!!!

I did say I was pissed and it was a fair while ago. Still very poor mistake. Can't really remember how it all happened. I'll blame it on a Mr Sambuca I think!!!

Felt like a right ****. Thats the only reason I paid up.

Not sure. Think Vargas hit DLH with the steel chair and then pinned him for the three count.:deal

    Gaps -

    1) I have no idea about Joe Calzaghe's career up to Jeff Lacy fight - never interested other than my dad telling me I should get Sky (which I could no afford then)

    2) I seem to have entirely missed Riddick Bowe's career other than the 'Fanman' fight which must have been on ITV.

    3) Entirely mix up american white boxers from the 1920's.
