Nope. Bisping is too big. Has excellent TDD even for his own weight. Wouldn't be surprised if he stops GSP later on either.
I don't know why a lot of boxers take losses so earth shatteringly badly. They all have like 30+ losses as an amateur - who did they think they are? I remember Austin Trout was pretty damn shook after his first loss, the guy had 42 losses in the amateurs!
This has puzzled me too. I think losing as a pro kind of sucks because it's like getting a demotion as at a job almost. Each fighter probably has some idea of what they want to do next, maybe its a chance at a title or a big money fight, so when they lose all that typically goes to ****. They get less of a cut of the purse in their next fight and will probably need to fight one or two tune ups before the next big one. It really is like getting demoted for a year or two at your job.
You get embarrassed when you fall in public, drop something, interpret something incorrect, fail at your job, etc. Now just imagine losing a legitimate fight in front of millions of people. It makes perfect sense to take a loss, more magnified the more world class fighter you are, tough.
The best example would be Naz. Not only was he dominated from bell-to-bell but the fight destroyed him mentally. Barrera took his soul.
When fighting is your livelihood it's a very different story. A loss at that level can be the difference between getting an opportunity that sets you up for life win or lose or with practically nothing.
Buster Douglas was ruined after Holyfield fight though he is doing pretty good nowadays. Meldrick Taylor never recovered from Chavez.
