Next time I drive out to the coast, I'll try to drop into the cemetery where Freddie Steele rests. Never been.

Can't think of any others locally.

Thanks buddy, have to say like you Americans, like your country for a holiday, and your all round chilled approach to most topics, well the yanks I have met have been ok, would be interesting to know how the numbers are on this thread, ie: way more Americans, or no, way more Europeans, or Asian, etc, just a thought...

I drove by Marciano Stadium in Brockton twice a week for work. There's a big statue of a small man there.

If I'm ever in London I'll put some flowers on Daniel Mendoza, Tom Cribb and Bill Richmond's graves.

I'm a bit south of Brockton but I drive for work, or did, before the surgery.

You won't find a grave for Mendoza or Richmond.

While visiting my wifes fathers grave on long island, I noticed a funeral going on nearby. I wouldn't say it was a huge crowd or anything, but something struck my curiousity about it. Next time we went there I went over to where that funeral took place and read the gravestone, Rocky Graziano. So, weird as it may be, I attended Rocky Graziano's funeral! Whenever I go there ,I always go over and say hi.
