Golovkin fans are OK so far. Pac fans are like rabid crack heads that scream "coward, ducker" and a whole bunch of trash talk to anyone not named Pacqiuao, or anyone not on his side. Floyd fans are typically delusional but their numbers dwindle so it's not so bad. Khan fans are 2nd behind Pac fans. Bear in mind, I'm referring to die hard fans.
Pac, Groves in build up to Froch II, Wilder currently as he is still yet to beat anyone of note and on the note of Pac I have no reason to dislike him as a person or fighter in particular but as mentioned by someone else previous his fans have made me dislike him
Any long time user of this forum can tell you that for years The Golota Express was one of the hottest threads around - and that includes 3 versions, 2 which were casualties of crashes when Golota's popularity peaked after controversial losses to Byrd and Ruiz. :smoke
While I don't think Ali was the GOAT, I acknowledge that he was an all time great. However the people who really don't know much about boxing but will preach about how amazing Ali was and say stupid **** like "He was flashy and exciting!" when in reality his style was the forefather of Wladimir Clinchko's constant jab-clinch, jab-clinh, jab-run, hold behind the head, repeat "style" annoy me greatly. People who can give a legit reason why they like Ali or what made him a good boxer I have no problem with.
Every fighter popular enough to have a large fanatical fanbase will have an ignorant and obnoxious group of fans within it. Comes down to mainly how popular the fighter is, and to a much smaller extent what kind of persona that fighter has of course attracts different kinds of people. But because the type of 'fan' that becomes fanatical about a fighter isn't a true boxing fan, they are more a groupie of whatever man they chose, and they defend that man and get very emotionally invested in him, usually that kind of human naturally comes ignorant and obnoxious.... Mayweather Pac Jmm Canelo Cotto They all have these type of man followers.... usually the amount the fighter has is reflected by how popular said fighter is and also what kind of persona that fighter puts out (but not always) Its hard but I try to not let a fighters fans influence how I 'feel' towards that fighter.
Bring it awn CST :bbb Always liked Pac but a lot of his fans, certainly upto 2012, were waaay over the top. And was a huge Lewis fan, but if you see that a lot of his fans are actually favoring him at his current age/state to dominate the division right now, I kinda feel sick.
It's only funny because of what they say about Pacquiao. They were accusing Pacquiao of PEDs as an excuse for Floyd not to fight him WHILE talking about how great Mosley is and why he's a viable opponent. Can't have it both ways :nono
