I lost interest in Fury a long time ago. In my opinion he has done nothing for the division or the sport. He is a clown and always will.be. I think the armchair fans are starting to realize this now.
If I was to score how hyped I am for this fight out of 10...I'd score it a 2 maybe a 3. Neither are prime anymore and these protracted negotiations and BS delays just chip away at any desire I have to see the fight. So while I'll still watch it, I can't say I am excited and just too jaded by all the BS that's surrounded the fight. It's why it's so refreshing to see guys like Inoue just pick the hardest fights possible back to back and just gets it made, no protracted negotiations, no BS thrown about in the media. Says who he wants to fight next then fights him, if only more boxers were so driven to be seen as the best.
As I said before the April 2022 proposed date, As I said before the December 23rd date, As I said before the February 17th date:- I will show some interest and excitement when they are in the ring, they touch gloves and then the bell goes and not a moment before! This fight is looking so cursed where it wouldn't suprise me if Fury fell during the ringwalk and broke an ankle or something equally ludicrous. At this stage, regardless of who's ducking at fault etc, etc I will actually be more suprised to see the end of round 1 than any other eventuality!
