I have iv always been a fan of Floyds i appreciate the art he displays in the ring and his fights with Corrales and Gatti are masterpieces, However first this bull**** rematch with Oscar put me of him now hes wanting Ricky Hatton again a true fighter like SRL,SRR,Tommy Hearns and the greats of the past took on all challenges regardless of money

I have actually gained a bit more respect for him. The last two have been against stiffer competition than anyone he has met otherwise since Castillo.

However, he would never surpass their greatness - whether or not it's entirely his fault or not - is hard to say.

He never earned mine to begin with:nono

Now when he's in a position to actually do so? Its more of the same. I cant lose what I never had.

Very good fighter but I have little or no respect for him otherwise.

Hatton is the one who wants a rematch and even the great SRR avoided Charley Burley "I am too pretty to fight Burley" he said, and did constantly outprice himself in negotiations with him. So dont give me that B.S about the greats of the past taking all challenges regardless of money because its simply not a fact.

I respect his immense talents. He's an artist. And i do think he's going to fight Cotto next year. He fights for money and that will be the biggest fight out there.

Last night on Larry King Live PBF claimed he made boxing huge, bigger than it's ever been! The ****in' guy is delusional! What little respect I had for him is now completely gone.

I'm a big fan of his and was disappointed of hearing a rematch with DLH, but now I'm ****ing beyond being disappointed with the news of a rematch with Fatton. **** him and his ****ing greedy ass...

If he fights Ricky Hatton again (after facing De La Hoya in a pointless rematch), then yes, I'll lose a great deal of respect for him.

Yeah. If he fights Hatton again, that's it for me. He can still redeem himself in my book by taking on Cotto in 2009.

I'm not a hater... Just a man that wants to see a good fight. I'm a fan and I think he's the best pound for pound and no I dont think he is running from Cotto. But damn, lets make some meaningful fights here..

    Exactly :good
I can see fighting DLH because is was a split decision and there is big $ in the rematch. but no way should he take the fight with Hatton.

DLH in September and Cotto early 2009!!!

Just my opinion, but PBF HAS won 6 world titles in 5 weight classes, he doesn't have to prove **** else to me. He can do what ever he pleases, although I would like to see the Cotto fight.
