Have you lost respect for Floyd Mayweather?

you know son (wigger ***) most of us boxing fans dont care if floyd wins or loses, we just want to see good fights, and right now there is no better match ups than cotto-mayweather.

 

You don't know **** about boxing ... Cotto can only wish to have accomplished more than DLH has. Especially at the WW level.

I respect your opinion but that **** was totally dumb ... anyone who's been a boxing fan for more than 6mo ... can tell you that DLH is a sure shot H.O.F'er ... and has accomplished more than anyone in the game today.

I like boxing and i'm not going to discredit a fighter for not fighting who I think they should fight. Yeah it might make me mad that its not going to happen but i'm not going to go as far as discrediting a fighters career accomplishments over 1 fight.

I don't like Pacfans ... but it wouldn't have mattered if Pac fought Marquez or not ... it doesn't matter who won the ****ing fight ... I liked the fight and it was entertaining.

I read that Klitschko was a ***** for not knocking out Ibragimov ... bull**** .... I doubt anyone on that thread has ever boxed and know what it takes to be on the elite level, especially as a 250lb HW. There are tons of boxers out here that don't get a chance to get TV ... I appreciate any man who steps in that ring ... because once you're in there's no turning back.

As a fan I appreciate more than what I read on these boards ... its cool to go back and fourth about some **** but these guys are doing things that we could only dream of doing.

 

Did I, or did I not say that DLH has accomplished more than Cotto? It basically says that in my last 3 ****ing posts! ******.

But when you've nothing left to prove, you subconsciously don't train as hard, and you're not as sharp in the ring either. That's where DLH is at, he's basically a veteran trying to hoard as much money as possible, much like RJJ and Hopkins (until taking the Calzaghe fight).

 

Why press the Cotto fight?

Why discredit Floyd's legacy by saying he's not proving himself by not fighting Cotto?

What makes this fight so career defining for both guys?

These guys have been able to co-exist until now?

I'm not going to discredit anything either fighter accomplishes from now until they retire.

I'm given my opinion but I shouldn't have even went there because I have alot of respect for Cotto. I think he's a good boxer but put him up against the best boxer out there and to say he's going to win because he's done more at WW is obsurd.

These guys haven't spent more than 2 years at WW ... why is there so much buzz about the fight?

No fighter ... fights the best every single fight after winning a championship .... there has to be fillers ... there has to be breaks. Every fighter in history has done and it won't stop.

How is Floyd fighting Hatton any different from Calzaghe fighting Evans Ashira?

How is Cotto's fight v Gomez any different from Floyd'a fight w/ Sharmba Mitchell?

these guys all fight fillers ... its a part of the game ... Jermain Taylor got the chance to do so when he fought Ouma and Spinks ... Pavlik is doing the same against Lockett.

You guys shouldn't expect anything more than what made you a fan of these guys in the first place - nothing more because you're not going to get it. If you're a fan act like one and if you're a hater ... keep hating because there's not enough of you bitches out there.

Just saw Floyd on ESPN 2 being interviewed and he talked the WWE event up, said he's semi-retired from boxing(fights when he wants 2) and wont fight Cotto til he's a mega star:-( Claiming Cotto's never done above 280 on PPV.Floyd's so ****ing full of **** ITS INSANE:verysad

Everything coming out of his mouth just blows away any respect I could have for someone of his talents.
