I agree with you, 33% says a lot if that represents the people who truly respect Pacquiao before the random blood test controversy. I will certainly lose all my respect for the man if he is proven to be knowingly on steroid or any banned substance. As it is however, my respect for Pac remains intact, in fact, I respect him more now than before because of his good demeanor while the fight was being negotiated. Random blood testing is not the norm in pro boxing, the demand for him to undergo such procedure is therefore unnecessary and downright discriminatory, very demeaning to a worthy champ and top P4P boxer yet instead of rejecting the demand outright Pac offered a good compromise, specifically one test during the press conference for the fight, another one inside 30 days before the fight but not within 48 hrs to the fight and finally, another one immediately after the fight which would give the same result. What I saw in the case was that Team Mayweather was simply playing mind games and thinking themselves as the big guys tried to bully Pac into agreeing to their demands but Pac knowing himself and what he truly deserve refused to be pushed around and for that, my respect for him had gone higher.

No doubt it would be good for pro boxing if they would make the random blood testing as the norm assuming that it's more efficient. However, requiring certain boxer to undergo such procedure just because he is so good when the norm is something else is downright DISCRIMINATORY and bad for the sport.
