Have you lost respect for Wlad?

    Pretty simple question here: After the farcical events relating to Chisora, where he's twice pulled out with a bull**** injury and broken two contracts, have you lost respect for him? The first excuse was an injury which had supposedly healed in a miraculously fast time, which allowed him to play golf weeks later, has now decided to come back!

    Bear in mind that Wlad did not have a full camp for the Chisora fight the first time and everyone on ESB knew the fight was off, well before Chisora did. In fact, whilst we were debating it on here, Chisora was on the radio hyping the fight.

    I'm not overly keen on Chisora but I am a big Wlad fan. That said, I can't excuse this. Wlad is one of the greatest champions in boxing, in terms of being an ambassador for the sport, but this is absolutely shameful.

    Anyone a poll will be up in a minute or so.

    Honestly, no.

    Ive never believed the K's were as honest, respectful, sportsman-like as some have insisted.

    This was the smart thing to do. It's just business.

    Im just amazed he didn't do this back in January when he was given the option to.

    I do feel sorry for poor ole' Del Boy though.

    this whole situation was handled badly
    but chirsora is likely to get a shot down the road if klitchko retains the belts
    ideally he should be fighting the winner for what its worth

    So you have a problem with him fighting Chisora jeapordising the Haye fight but you also have a problem with him cancelling the Chisora fight to fight Haye? :? There is no winning with you.

    He ****ed over Chisora, no doubt about it, but he walked away from a fighting a guy who had no business fighting for a world title to unify against arguably the world #3. I haven't lost respect for him.

    People can be happy that Wlad/Haye is happening and still disappointed in Wlad's action, especially considering Wlad made a point about saying he could fight both. I don't think that was ever true.

    As a fan of Wlad's and as someone who has defended him on here for years, I'm disappointed in what he's done. I'm not talking about Chisora or Haye, just the way Wlad has acted. It's been unprofessional throughout and this is a guy who I have always called a "true champion". These aren't the actions of a true champion.

    I'm sure once he beats Haye then Chisora will get a fight with him. As the post above me says...You guys are a bunch of hypocrits.

    The crux of the issue is that he has led Chisora a merry dance so deserves some flack, particularly since what people have said about Haye. Jack, isn't saying he'd rather watch WALDO fight Chisora, and as a Haye fan he's probably happy the fight is happening. I lost some respect for Haye for things he did / didn't do, so it's a legitimate question.

    Wlad canceled the fight because he needs more time to recover and Wlad wants Haye for unification.

    Who cares about the Chisora fight? Nobody.

    Yeah, everything I'm talking about here, is solely about Wlad. I'm not talking about Chisora, and I didn't want to see that massacre, and I'm not talking about Haye.

    I just have higher expectations from Wlad who has always been a fantastic asset boxing. He has always been professional, respectful and honest - That's why I have lost respect for him, because I've always praised him for being 'professional, respectful and honest' in the past.
