To be fair, neither Alvarez - Saul or Eleider - is a brutal puncher.

All of brutal Canelo KOs were against fighters with glass jaws - like Amir Khan of James Jirkland (KO victim of featherfisted Japan jorneyman).
And Canelo has his fair share of not being able to stop suspect-chinned fighters like Trout, Lara or Jackobs.

Eleider Alvarez has scored only 3 KOs in 11 fights (in the last 5 years before KO'ing Kovalev), and his latest KO came against shot glass-jawed Lucian Bute.

Yet Eleider Alvarez scored 3 brutal KDs against Kovalev, the 1st was one-punch knockdown.

Kovalev's chin is fragile, that's a fact, unfortunately

Getting KTFO usually significantly impairs the fighters ability to take future punishment.

Kovalev ****ed himself with his alcoholism and deviant life style. When E. Alvarez KTFO Kov that was it. He was done.

To be fair, GGG, Chavez Jr, Lara, Jacobs, and Kovalev all changed their fight style to a more defensive one, almost into a survival one, so its harder to KTFO someone who is unwilling to open up.

Canelo has many fight styles. In his first fight with GGG he was coming up in weight, and implemented his defensive style. He had previously used that style against Chavez jr and Liam Smith.

Because polls are ****ing stupid, especially on this site, ad you know it, but you're a troll.

You probably have like 10 alt accounts yourself, and even then, this is one of the few sites on the internet that is heavily biased for EE fighters. Go anywhere else ad you get a better representation of world boxing.

You're getting destroyed by IsaL as usual. The point was that GGG, Chavez Jr, Lara, Jacobs, and Kovalev all changed their style to be more defensive. It's harder to KO people when they fighting defensive. And yes to an extent Canelo used a similar tactic and made it harder for GGG to hurt or KO him by fighitng him how he did in the first fight. The difference is though while those other guys weren't landing big shots and were just in there to survive, Canelo fought GGG defensive in the first fight but he was still loading up and hurting GGG with big shots by setting traps and countering. GGG, Chavez Jr, Lara, Jacobs, and Kovalev fought defensive and none of these guys ever came close to hurting Canelo. Jacobs landed a good shot on him, GGG landed a good shot on him in the rematch. But in comparison to those 2, in the first fight vs GGG while fighting defensive Canelo landed several shots on G that were harder or as hard as those.
