Not to be a dick but that's bit of a pointless question. If somebody boxes and has a tough, physical job how does that affect you in any way at all?

What have you done to your back that prevents you boxing?

Check out the thread "boxing as a full-time job" by a poster named Canello. It is midway down the first page. He's had quite a few responses.

I'd understand your asking that if you were planning on becoming a boxer full time and have a day job to make ends meet. But, by your own admission, you haven't boxed but twice in 3 years, so it's kind of a moot point until you can devote lots of time and effort to boxing.

It doesn't matter how many fights you've had prior to being injured. We all know boxing is one of the most physically demanding sports to properly train for. If you can't train to maintain an active boxing status, it then becomes a moot point.

it can be tough to drag yourself to the gym after a day at work. It takes a few weeks, but your energy system adapts, and it gets easier to train.

There will always be days when it is a battle with yourself to go to the gym.
