No it isn't, those guys have such huge advantages elsewhere that they cover up for their chins. More fighters have their progress stoped becasue they cant take a punch than make it.
How much does that translate into, though? What did it mean for Tua that he was "always in the fight" against Lewis, when he was completely dominated? Or Peter, vs Klitschko last week or vs Vitali? Or Mosley vs Mayweather? Every fighter has at least one short coming. Foreman could be outboxed. Ali wasn't a very powerful puncher - which would've saved him a shitload of trouble vs Norton. Having a bad chin is one weakness. If you have enough strengths to compensate for it, it will not prevent you from having a good career. See Lewis, Hearns, Wlad, etc.
