The masses where caught up in the hype then. Because cotto fights nothing like Floyd nor does he have the same skillset, so who ever was basing cotto to win off that didnt know what they were talking about. I favored cotto but not because of that. I thought cott would be able to adjust(i thought he had ring intelligance) and stick to his bread and butter which was his body work. I also thought he was a calm fighter when presented with problem. He showed none of this. FFS the guy didnt even look like he knew how to clinch

Great, Now we're all taking long walks off short cliffs, planks , and whatever else we can think of to send someone to an early demise.
I'm surprised and elevator shaft hasn't been mentioned.

Hey I have an idea........why not simply decline the offer?

No he can't hurt him to the chin but he can keep him off balance but putting the jab and straight to the mid section ..
floyd is real good and throwing straight body shots which is something you need against a guy is bigger and stronger then you, planting your feet and throwing hook against a guy who bigger and stronger then you is a mistake.

I seen Tony camp before the cotto fight he picked on some of the mayweather's defensive mit work of catching shot on the elbow to help improve his defense it was Tony's defense down stairs that discouraged cotto from going for body shots.

who says the mayweather mit work is all for show.

    He tried.
Margarito seems to be a hard one to clinch.
I'm sure Floyd will show Cotto how it's done if he comes out of retirement, along with running for many rounds liek he never has before.

I don't get how people compared Cotto to PBF. Cotto does have speed but he was never a slick boxer. Cotto was a guy that would work the body and just out muscle his opponent.

But having said that, i think anyone other then Margo in there Saturday would have lost. Cotto landed hard clean shots, combos, to Margo's amazing granite head. Any other WW would have been stuned bad to being knocked down from those shots.

You have to read the post from Zavy to get it.

He posted a short sighted post about the fight then insulted people cause we couldn't read his mind only what he posted.

In the proccess of trying to insult me he posted an ass backward insult.

agreed , he just lost his composure , he never been pressure before so he doesn't know what its like , to fight on the move for 12 rounds.

Floyd does , and floyd would go in with the mind set that he can not hurt margarito but he can exploit his weakness and minimize his own , I know easer said then done ,, but floyd has done it in the past ..

but it would be the perfect match of skill Vs will SRR vs Jake Lamata .. Floyd has proven before that his fighting style and training could be another tool for the art of boxing , a win against margarito would seal it.

How many time do you want me to school you?

What you post and what is in that thick skull of yours are two different thing. If you can't post what is turning in your pea size brain then don't expect us to try and read what is in your mind and not your post. that is the 2nd ******ed thing you posted in this thread and claim its not what you meant to say.

You can barely grasp the concept of boxing so you try to insult. Failing badly in both category.

    :deal :deal

i'm going to butt in here....

only because i hate to see people not put their opinions on the line while they put up pics of women who have no relation to themselves or their conquests.

if i was wrong you wouldn't be so petty and would be more straight with people.
