    Ali got Fraizer's respect is what happened. He hit him hard enough to make him think about just walking in.

    Same for Mayweather getting the respect of Baldomir, and just about everyone else he fought. Smaller guys, and none nearly as fearless as Margarito.

    When are you guys gonna learn. Margarito is a special fighter. Not a technical fighter but what he brings to the table puts him over the top. He is fearless. You have to knock this man out to keep him out of your space. And if you can't knock him out he's gonna beat the hell out of you.

    So power is wwhat creates space. What about Whitaker-Chavez? how was space created?

    And i dont know if Marg will be his toughest fight, just like i dont know if Cotto or Pw would be his toughest fight.

    chavez and margarito are 2 different types of fighters, chavez was more a technical boxer/puncher, margarito just keeps coming forward,if you dont hurt him you wont stop him.

    It isn't power directly. It's about heart. Some guys can take a real good punch but don't like getting hit in the face. Some guys simply just don't give a ****, like Margarito.

    Power is huge foot work is Huge too but understand PBF doesn't hit like cotto and margo ain't no rookie man he can cut of the ring very well **** cotto can cut off the ring margo cut the ring off so well vs cotto he had no choice but to stand and fight even when he didn't want too watch the fight and look at the feet .. cotto takes little breaks i noticed it along time ago but more recent he did it vs sugar and zab late in the fight roy did it too when roy was tired he would fient hard just to get his wind. alot of fighters like to pace them self from some odd reason margo just doesn't pace i he is always trying to fight u

    While not having power like Trinidad, getting hit repeatedly by straight perfect shots from a Whitaker or Floyd will definately have a cumulative effect, a stinging red tearing of the skin. Different types of punchers but both effective. Whitaker/Mayweather make you look bad too which has a pyschological deterioration on their opponents.

    It doesnt matter both Marg in the Cotto fight and Chavez in the Whitaker fight needed to get close to have even a remote chance of winning because they wern't going to outbox thier opponent right?

    yes PBF and cotto are the same size but cotto is stronger fighting someone taller than u the fighting style changes it has too you do things diffrently cotto had to punch up... which would leave him open for that left upper cut to get under the right hand ...
