Having just watched Adamek/Banks, i'm not so sure Hopkins can beat Adamek.

Yes, Pavlik is strong but quite slow and everything he threw at Hopkins was telegraphed and mostly avoided. Adamek, unlike Pavlik, not only has one punch KO power, but also throws many disguised counters that you simply don't see. These are much quicker punches then anything Pavlik throws. Many of his KD's come from quick, short, looping and straight punches that were not seen coming by his opposition. His short looping punches are absolute hammers and are borderline illegal, in terms of where they land (eg., first KD against Cunni. and I've seen more of those from Tomasz), but they are devastating. I am willing to bet any money, that at least one of those punches will connect with Bernard's chin or head. If Bernard's chin holds, Tomasz can still win on the cards if he doesn't get handcuffed like Pavlik.

I would be shocked if Hopkins lost this one. Adamek aint exactly a big cruiserweight and he aint exactly Speedy Gonzales either

Hopkins can't beat Adamek simply because Adamek won't have to move-up in weight to fight him.
