Haxhi Krasniqi vs. Nadjib Mohammedi RBR

Round 2

Mohammedi rallying hard, making sure to be first, ploughing into Krasniqi with heavy 1-2s up top. Both men collide into a bearhug spinning into the ropes. Break ordered by the ref. Krasniqi backed nearly into a corner by some Mohammedi jabs. Krasniqi plants his lead foot inside Mohammedi and paints his face with a couple of jabs of his own. Mohammedi still trying for quick jerk-away dodges but just a beat too late, getting touched with a surprising number of jabs. Krasniqi with his left arm by his thigh, circling to his right, flipping up backhanded jabs rapidly one after the other. Mohammedi with a flurry of looping shots around Krasniqi's guard, putting him nearly against the ropes. Krasniqi eats several chopping shots and ties up. Both miss some punches in the final twenty seconds, lots of jittery energy.

I think Mohammedi was probably about 15% better at their peaks, and Krasniqi might be 85% as shot as him, so this has actually turned out to be a great and ultra-competitive fight so far.

 

Round 3

Krasniqi sticking with the left hand carried low and Mohammedi almost enraged at the arrogance, sallying in behind multiple jabs and curveball rights, forcing Krasniqi to cover up. Krasniqi gets probably the best shot of the round in when Mohammedi slinks away in the perfect spot to belt with a downward-whipping right hand.

Round 4

Krasniqi walking through double jabs and can opener right hands at shoulder height. Krasniqi shrimping up, waiting until he gets inside to plug Mohammedi's belly with coal-stoker rights or uppercuts. Mohammedi gestures exasperatedly at the ref when Krasniqi apparently headbutts into his abdomen. Both are slinging away with straight combos at medium-close range. Good action. Krasniqi tries bending at the waist to slip punches but that isn't his game. Mohammedi, for such a defensively crafty guy, also largely eschewing defense and slugging it out with Krasniqi. Mohmamedi looking the physically stronger man at the moment.

The overhand right is an excellent weapon for Krasniqi. That would be a surefire KO shot if his power was just a smidge greater or Mohammedi's chin a smidge worse.

 

Round 5

Krasniqi using a lot of forward-thrust triangular elbow, point of the joint aimed skyward, to carve a path inside. Krasniqi punching down the middle while Mohammedi sends flurries of looping shots bouncing off his shoulders and biceps. Krasniqi bashes Mohammedi upside the head with a few more of those overhand rights as he's ducking, plus the odd left hook on the jawline. Krasniqi starting to force Mohammedi backward.
