Krasniqi showing a bit of fatigue but still battling like a madman, if now in spurts. Mohammedi smacking him up on either cheek with quick volleys of almost heavy palm-strikes. Nothing with the knuckles really centered. Much sturdier connections from Krasniqi with the occasional hooker-cut, but he's also being outworked. Tough one to score. Ref took a couple of points, however. Unclear why.

Krasniqi has a firmed up game plan now, weather the storm of Mohammedi's intense pressure behind the jab (punctuated every 3 or 4 by a thumping right hand) and then unloading his own short power salvos. Mohammedi warned for leading with his skull. Mohammedi jabbing like crazy down the center lane and then ziplining a right hand across. Krasniqi waiting, moving, blocking and then retaliating when Mohammedi's steam runs low.

Round 8

Krasniqi pushed into the ropes and hit with a slew of chopping rights, some legal and some rabbit punches. Mohammedi beckons for the ref to intervene, complaining that Krasniqi has been trapping his arm with his wrist. The ref seems a little fed up with all the shenanigans. Mohammedi presses Krasniqi against the ropes, throwing shoeshines and hacking down with vicious right hands, only for Krasniqi to pop him in the mouth with a short right of his own. They break from a clinch and step together with Krasniqi uncorking a huge overhand right that almost has Mohammedi wobbling on a single leg before they clinch again. Mohammedi recovers and starts pouring it on Krasniqi against the ropes, peppering his guard and below his ears with quick looping blows. The ref screams at Mohammedi for something during a clinch and takes another point from him.
