He reminds me of Frank Bruno, more of a bodybuilder than a boxer.

His stamina wasn't great at cruiserweight four years ago. But Haye has since shown every sign of having taken the relevant lessons from his defeat with regard to training professionally and pacing himself during fights. He certainly looked ok when when knocking out Fragomeni in the 9th or Mormeck in the 7th.

I just don't see this guy lasting out a fight. If he doesn't put away his opponent early, it's over for Haye. All that extra muscle mass is great for explosiveness, but does little for endurance. Yeah, the guy may hit like a mule for three rounds, but then what? What's he going to do when he fights a guy similar to Ross Purrity that keeps his hands up and has a chin of steel? Better yet, Oliver McCall. Haye lacks experience fighting big men and will quickly find out that it's not the same thing as beating up smaller men than himself.

Try watching the Mormeck and Fragowhatever fights again. I try and remember he was a 10 fight rookie in the Thompson fight. He trains for 12 now.

I know what im talking about *******. I am the personal chef/nutritionist/trainer for Wlad Klitschko. I bet I know a hell of alot more about it then you do
Muscle requires oxygen. The more muscle mass you have, the more stamina comes into play along with the fact more muscle mass slows hand speed

You guys have NO CLUE. Why the hell do you think Briggs has such problems? To much Muscle mass. It requires a large amount of oxygen to keep from cramping....ask any pro trainer.

Im not saying he will gas right away, but so many guys think he will add 25-30 lbs and be just as fast and have the same stamina. Its just not possible. He might still be fast and good stamina, but it wont be the same as when he was 200lbs or less

No Briggs stamina problems are more than likely because he has Asthma. Asthma normally causes breathing problems you know..

Now this is true. I did PE to a pretty high level, I cant quite remember the formula, but I believe it is ATP which allows the muscles to work, which is created using oxygen, PCP, and with lactic acid as a by product.

So this is a true enough statement, too much musle is NOT good for stamina, they require a lot more oxygen to work. Ever wonder why long distance runners are so skinny?

Ok bearing in mind this shocking "fact" do ALL heavyweight boxers now need to drop under 200lbs so there stamina is better? I mean im not a nutrionist so i really dont know...
