4'10" ? I'm not so sure. I saw him fight Buster Mathis Jr., who's really only 3'11" real height, and for once Tyson was the taller man, but not by much, maybe a couple of inches. Mathis was just fat though. Tyson was built like TANKZILLA
completely. tyson's centre of gravity was very low. Most tall men will struggle with it. lets not forget that although haye is 6'3"... that is still very tall
He's also retained too much fluid on his back. I can't see the judges forgiving him for that when it comes to the back posing. On the other hand, he's going to be better than Valuev at the Atlas pose.
If I remember correctly, Naseem Hamed (5"2) had at least a foot on Tyson when they faced, which would make him just over 4 foot. HBO really hyped up his height in the mid-1980s.
He wore stilts everywhere he went. Until it was time to fight. And that shows what a great athlete he truly was. It's hard to do roadwork in stilts, especially when you're BUILT LIKE A TANK !
Hayes legs are much bigger from what ive seen in the build up to this fight. Dunno what Boxfan is chatting about atsch
everyone's a critic, but this statement is just nothing short of ridiculous. this guy has to be joking:-(
haye looks like he trained for an abercrombie photo shoot, not a fight. i agree with everyone who says his balance will be terrible. even though he doesnt look muscular, valuev will muscle haye all over the ring and knock him out.
It's funny, you guys are so used to FAT heavyweights, some guy actually comes to a fight IN SHAPE and you assume he must be training wrong !
