Haye was ripped as per usual, ruiz didn't take his top off :huh Haye is going spark him inside 6 :deal
Haye is 4 lbs heavier than he was against Valuev and looked massive. Ruiz was fully clothed but rumours have it that he has been looking pretty good in sparring.
So much for the worries about him being soft and carrying flab. Only 4lbs more than for the Valuev fight and that would be expected if he is growing into the weight properly. Looked ripped as ****.
Ruiz at 231 is very good for him, that's about what he used to fight at. Ruiz has looked pretty good in recent fights, IMO although he is past his prime. His biggest problem is that Ruiz USED to have GREAT head movement for a HW, but now he has a much more stand-up style, virtually no head movement. If you're going to beat Haye, you need to make him miss. I will bet that Ruiz gets KD'd a few times in this fight, mainly counters while he's moving backward. Count on that. I'm betting he gets stopped around the 6th-7th but I'd actually like to see him win. I always root for Ruiz. Although Haye winning isn't a bad thing.
This is a Ruiz fight - the only way it's gonna be good is if Haye blasts him out. Which, btw, is exactly what I think will happen. That cheater's getting Tua'd, again!!!:happy:happy
Nothing yet, it's only just happened. They should be up here soon.... http://www.skysports.com/haye/story/0,27000,18287_6070832,00.html
BTW 222 is perfect for Haye. I'd say 225 is the limit but anywhere between 215-225 is perfect weight for his size. Remember he is like 6'3ish.
I think he gives Haye some trouble early before getting to him late. If he does stop him, I doubt he does it like Tua, although I may be wrong.
