I feel dirty just responding to one of your posts, but I'll make an exception just once. Wiki was top of the search list but its a fact & it happened.

Vitali signed a contract with Haye but pulled out to face Gomez instead.

I followed boxing at the time, I know full well what happened. There was no contract signed, the closest was when Haye withdrew to sign away a 3 fight option with Sauerland for Valuev.

all david had to do was sign the contract..... its like he has a mental block when its time to sign.... he negotiates and negotiates and gets the deal done... the contract comes to be signed and he disappears for 4-5 days and signs to fight someone else

I'll give Vitali one thing - he has incredible foresight. Getting into politics just as Haye stepped into te heavyweight division was a master stroke. One of the best ducking moves I've ever seen.
