I won't post the article from another site, but here is a general pointer to the proof of what I am saying:

    http://www.b0xingSc3n3.com/?m=show&id=17006

I hope that is satisfactory. I know it will get blocked and you cannot post other peoples articles here, so I hope this is ok.

Anyway, Haye says clearly that he was hurt and put down. This KD was from Monte "BB Guns" Barrett.

So, to all those Haye-Huggers that said he was NOT down nor does he admit to it.....what do you say now? Can you admit that you were wrong?

What's your point? I hate pointless threads like this. He won well and if he was knocked down, so what. It was an exciting fight, a fight in which HWs actually wanted to throw punches. That's what Haye is about, excitement to KO or be KO'ed, he has said that all along. For that I have enough respect for him, unlike you.

I saw the fight. One of times he was on the canvas was clearly a slip. The other time was from a punch, but the punch landed on the back of his head.

Yes the punch landed on the back of his head which caused him to go off balance.

It's very clear from the video. Both Haye's feet slip from under him before any punch is thrown. As he's on his way down Barrett is throwing a punch which probably makes marginal contact with the top of Haye's head, although it may be the forearm that actually contacts.

Dubious whether or not you consider it a legitimate knockdown, but it says nothing about Haye's punch resistance either way, as he was going down anyway.

Clearly a knockdown if you watch the video carefully, and Haye is big enough to admit it. It's not irrelevant, either. Sure, it doesn't say anything about Haye's chin or anything like that...the punch caught him off balance and didn't hurt him at all, but it does tell something about Haye's style/gameplan...and it's not good news. Haye needs to box more and fight a more intelligent, less reckless fight. If he keeps running into punches like that, one day he is going to get hurt.

Just read the article. I'm surprised at Haye's honest comments, "His jab felt like a cruiserweights right", " I plant my feet when I get buzzed." Doesn't sound like he has much of a chin. He better shore up his defense or he'll be ko'd soon. He's going to be fun to watch for as long as he lasts.

guess what? in a fight, you can get knocked down by bigger people....it happens..... its what happens in boxing...one guy tries to knock the other guy down....

Or he could just be getting used to what it's like to get to hit by a HW...a pretty new experience for him.

    Naaaaaaaaaaaaah....

I agree very much. I only created this to prove to the blind testicle hangers on here that even he admitted that it was a KD and he was hurt. Now I dont think it makes a tremendous difference because he dominated the fight, but these guys need a reality check whenever possible.

I was very surprised to hear him be honest about it too. I expected more garbage soming from his mouth and complete denial.

I think he's just being overly gracious and kind to monte in that interview it was clearly a slip.

I have watched the two incidents 10 times in slo mo and Haye was not KD or hurt by a punch he took a knee to take advantage of a breather.

And to just do the sensible thing when you've been hit whilst on the floor.

As for him saying jabs felt like cruisers rights again just being realistic and humble in his approach.

I don't care what he says we can all clearly see Monte never hurt of knocked him down in that fight.

So stop the hayeting and jump aboard this much needed exciting show that the Hayetrix will bring to the heavyweight division.

Everyone complains about how boring the division is and soon as we get a little bit of excitement the guy gets hated and put upon. :huh:patsch
