I don't recall Haye saying this. There are also no direct quotes used in the article from Haye in relation to being knocked down.

 

I think they are looking too much into when Haye was discussing how exciting he is as a fighter. He said something like " I get knocked down I knock people down, thats why they come and see me". I think they looking into when he said "I get knocked down", not "I slip".
I think it was a KD. Did it have any effect on the fight? No. So why is everyone bringing it up so much?

he looked very hurt. look his face, he was ready to get ktfo and even took a knee but referee gave him enough time to recover. if he steps up after this fight he is gonna get knocked out. very exciting though

Did you not see Monte hit him hard when he was on his arse? That might be why he was given more time to recover! The punch that out him on his arse didn't hurt him, it was a flash KD. Off balance, sqaured up and clip on the head. The actual KD had no implication on the outcome of the fight.

yea i agree but still it wasnt a very hard shot. i believe his chin is trash at heavyweight and it wont take long till he is getting knocked out, by lesser opponents than the klitschkos. will have to wait and see
