The one in the 5th round is probably the one that he's talking about. Cause what happened there was Haye got caught low and of balance with both his feet parallel and infront of him. And barrette Smaked him on his chin and put him down. Whether it was a knock down or not is a matter of opinion. It looked like he was slipping and got caught on the way down. But anotherway to look at it would have been that it was a slip into a punch that put hiom down. Eitherway thats not the concerning thing for me. The concerning thing is that Haye admitts that he went away from his game plan of boxing Monte earlier because Monte hit him with some "strong" shots. Problem with this is that whatever he was calling strong shots I didn't see. So whatever his version of strong shot is it can't be that strong. "Haye admitted he had abandoned the pre-fight game-plan after two rounds against Barrett and been drawn into a slugging match. That might not be the best way to go against Wladimir, who also floored Barrett five times when they met in 2000 and who has 45 knockouts from 54 fights. "Monte buzzed me a couple of times with good shots and once someone buzzes me, that's when I plant my feet and start swinging," said the 28-year-old Haye." What bull****. No such quote exists. If somebody can prove otherwise (by providing said quote - in context) then I will literally eat my own *****. It's funny how excited the Haye bashers are getting over a comment by some random journalist in one little article; when every single other report on the fight makes no mention of any such "admission". If this report is the prosecution's primary evidence then I think they've got rather a weak case on their hands
That would be any objective fan's question. :good I think the OP posted this to pick on Haye nuthuggers, who make a big deal out of it, as if it really means something if one of the KDs was actually legit.
Yeah to be honest the media and Haye's people (including Haye himself) love to play up this exciting but vulnerable card. And this would actually makes more sense if that was what he was trying to do here. Because even with Haye's pansy chin and **** stamina it would be hard to imagine him actually being hurt from anything he got his with. Even the punch he took while on the deck.
If Haye had said it, there would have been a direct quote. That's not me ignoring it because I'm a haye fan either. It's just clear to anyone who can look at this objectively. All of that quotes used there, came from Haye's post fight sinterview. I saw it live and he simply didn't say he got knocked down.
that was a slip, then barrett punched him when he was nearly flat on his back there was no legit knockdown of haye whatsoever
Nice avatar. Much better than that fat piece of **** Sam "The Quiter" Peter. Vitali busted his very badly!
