Haye admitted fears about referee only hours before injury

****ing right. It's not fair to call Haye a ***** since he gets punched in the face for a living, but man I would be so pissed if it was just a ploy. HAHA what an ******* he'd be.

So since it doesn't look like it'll happen, who do you want to see take his place? I'd like to see James "Fat" Toney since he's talked a lot of **** himself. I know he'd be on the recieving end of a one sided beating but at least people know who he is.

Not yet. Haye's still punching at a brick wall and throwing himself down some flights of stairs to self inflict the injuries.

 

If I'm honest, none of them but if I was forced at gun point to choose someone I would pick Valuev and hope to god that Wlad KO's the big lump and we never have to suffer one of his fights ever again and it brings titles together. Toney would be my second pick just because it is something a little different but I would give him next to no chance against Wlad.

I've never heard so much nonsense. Wlad had to have home ref, options on Haye, home advantage. He is a difficult fighter, but the sooner someone rids boxing of him, the better.

Haye signed the prime of his career away to get that fight. The ref is a massive concern. Wad holds up close, then when the opponent gets his hand free, WLAD TURNS HIS BACK. Every time, he is allowed to get away with it. Makes you wonder whom this so-called coward is.

Injuries happen and fights do get called off. Some of you may be disappointed, but I think a lot of posters are showing a huge lack of maturity and are using their dislike of Haye to tarnish the man's image.

I don't buy into Haye as a heavyweight, and I have to wonder did he want out of the contract where he'd have to beat wlad, then win a rematch, then beat vitali. but this man was an excellent cruiserweight, won an authentic world title from the top man at the weight, and defended it against the biggest punching challenger. not to mention he beat world class guys on the way up, like now-WBC champ fragomeni and former world title challenger gurov...those who question haye's bottle should remind themselves that he stopped mormeck in france, getting up to win; should look at the way he disposed of the giant, dangerous, southpaw gurov; should consider his rally to beat frago when his own fight was caked in blood from an awful cut. WTF has Wlad done at his own weight to equal any of this?

 

When you backout in a fight because of an injury and release it to the media, medical proof should already be available....You cant just backout without checking it with a doctor....releasing it to the press without proof, just proves something fishy is goin on or Haye's just scared and dont want anything to do with wlad...And the latter makes more sense!!!IMO..

the hayefaker thought he could intimidate Wlad with his big talk and big show of false confidence. he never in a million years expected Wlad to COME AFTER HIM and keep sending the contracts back. the fake hunter became the hunted. as the fight got closer and the reality of the predator getting closer, hayefaker has faked his way out of the killing, the slaughter, the murder of a career that was going to take place on June 20.

good riddance to the hayefaker, the coutnerfeit talked a good game but when it came time to walk he ran out the back door.

Why say he's ready July 11 then? He aint bottled ****- he's injured. Unfortunately, after all the talk (which was a vital part of the promotion for zee German's) Haye's been doing before this fight, anything other than a brutal KO would have people turning against him. Injuries happen all of the time, dude.

 

Only in Klitschko Land does a boxer wanting a three week injury delay constitute making "excuses" for "pulling out" of a fight. Vitali must have been the biggest coward going for pulling out of the Rahman fight.

Evidently for Wladimir, the delay has ridden into town like a Knight in shining armour, given his flat-out refusal to put the fight back by only 21 days.
