Haye is packing more glass than The Shard. Getting dropped three times by a fat little lhw. Mock wants a rematch.
It was probably never a rock solid jaw but its likely he had taken similar or better punches than Bellew landed. Wlad caught Haye a few times, as did Chisora. If it was glass he would have been knocked out by those guys and many before. He is just shot. It makes me laugh when a fighter on the slide loses by KO and people say they never had a chin to begin with. Sugar Ray Leonard had a decent Jaw but was bounced around the ring like a basket ball later in his career, they get past it and cant take the punishment anymore.
Ruiz also landed on him and bounced him off the ropes. Getting chinny is partly wear and tear. We've seen it with RJJ and others.
Those fighters never landed clean with their feet planted. He was never in there with a ferocious quick inside fighter. This is why he never wanted anything to do with Wilder. Pulled out twice against Fury who would have ended his career and stopped all the farce that has happened today. I warned you before the fight the man was telling you lies and you didn't learn. He's always been a fraud with a suspect chin, who relied on quick reflexes and athleticism to see him through against poor substandard heavyweights until he could get a big pay day against the top dog in the division.
whatever the case he took harder punches before by real heavyweights, the difference is he cant take the punishment now, Bellew's vaunted "best left hook in the history of boxing" is getting a bit overrated I think. Its hard to argue Haye wasn't a bit of a con at heavyweight.... but I liked his win against Chisora though, he demolished a heavyweight that is still kind of relevant today, Dillian Whyte was no where near doing that to Derek and he is a guy that gave Joshua a good scrap, one of the top contenders. Vitali couldnt either. So is Haye that much of a fraud as you say? I think you are being a bit harsh personally. Granted Haye didnt do what he set out but his body failed him, he probably would have given it a go otherwise. this comeback has been a complete farce though so cant argue with that. but at the end of the day judging a fighters whole career by a loss when they are all but finished is not assessing things fairly.
