Haye and Audley on Klitschko-Peter II

Wouldn't that then make it all the sweeter if A- FORCE did manage to pull an upset. That would be a good laugh. You have to admit that!

As for opinions, look at all of us, blah blah blah, this and that. Most people here probably couldnt punch themselves out of a paper bag! lol

 

The question was clearly meant to give the fighters an opportunity to take a shot at Wlad and disparage his defense. Which is funny to me because he's the only titilist who is actually acting like a champion. Both Vitali and Haye have taken horrible fights. Wlad is the only one who is taking on a world ranked fighter.Yes, perhaps I was overly harsh on Audley. Looking at his quotes again, he didn't take any terrible shots at Peter. But again, the question was clearly a soft lob to give both fighters a chance to openly disparage the Wlad vs. Peter fight, which is the only one of the next three title shots that has any legitimacy.

 

I had a few bouts in the amateurs in Boston. But yes, Audley would surely KO me in a few seconds of the first round.

Go to 11.35 in the vid. Thats where the quotes are from. The pundit asks haye if peter exposed wlad at all in that fight. Haye answered. Then he asked audley ''peter has relocated in the states and he says he has more skills this time around'' Audley gave a pretty respectful answer, especially considering how fighters these days put their opponents down at every chance they get.

I think with haye the reporter was having a dig at wlad. And haye of course replied like a *****. But i feel audley is probably innocent in this1 :good

 

That's probaly right. Audley didn't do much beside criticize Peter's defense, which really isn't saying much...Peter does have bad defense. But again, the question was clearly designed to disprage the fight....which I find truly risible. Haye vs. Audley is a joke fight. Wlad agaisnt Peter is a legitmate fight with a world class contender.

mate. you only have to listen to various networks branding this ''one of the most eagerly anticipated heavyweight fights ever'' or ''this fight has the whole world talking'' to see how deluded some are. Trust me it pisses me off listening to it. But to be fair its mainly these networks who have presenters who know nothing at all about boxing saying this ****. Its quite sad.

This fight does suck big time. Dont get me wrong

But from my selfish point of view, it will be a cracking atmosphere with terrific build up (however stupid and unwarranted it is). Audley is actually hilarious. He is seriously getting under Haye's skin which is always fun to see. Public opinion is changing Drastically. Hes not covering himself in glory at all! and it would be amazing if audley actually ko'd haye. It will be quite a big event over here. It probably looks stupid from the outside. but over here we are so starved of worldwide sporting talent this is actually quite appealing

Of course i wish it was a klitschko! but id rather see AUDLEY KO haye than adamek or someone worthy doing it u feel me :good

 

A bum? Peter has bested every B class opponent that he's fought. He beat Maskev, he beat Mccline, he beat Toney. He's only ever lost to elite fighters. To group this fight with the other (Haye vs. Audley and Vitali vs. Briggs) shows a shocking lack of boxing knowledge. Peter is a world class fighter, the others are not. He might lose, but he's a much, much better fighter than the other contenders.

 

Audley won't KO Haye. And I don't even dislike Haye. I can't stand the way he's comported himself...but he's a much better fighter than B-class Audley Harrison...which is why Haye fans much be climbing the walls. The guy has the talent to be an international superstar and he's content with regional confrontations. It's sad.

 

my boxing knowledge of Peters history is limited admittedly...

I just remember watching a grossly overweught man come into the ring wearing a belt step in the ring and get his ass busted without hardly throwing a punch!! he then quit on his stool cause he felt had no chance of winning even by knockout!! No Heart now this same guy who vlad has already knocked out we're supposed 2 be convinced is gonna be competitive just because he's lost some flab!! Bum in my opinion

Say what u want about Haye!! but the 3 or 4 rounds where he chases Audrey around the ring and audrey attempts in vain to catch his weak chin is gonna provide more entertainment than both cagey boring jabbinmg klitscko fights put together!!

 

If you call that a bum then you'd be making 2 million dollars tomorrow night. Vitali was on that night when he fought Peter. He had a nice long rest and he hasn't looked nearly as good since. My guess is that Peter took the fight lightly and came in out of shape and Vitali was much better than anyone thought he'd be. Peter was favored in the fight, remember.

 

Then you're just more entertained by mismatches than the rest of us are. Either Klitchko would KO Audley just as easily as Haye will.
