Haye and Booth are reading through the contract sent by Vitali!

Thing is though, this time Dave will have nothing to lose and everything to gain. He already has a large amount of cash in his bank account, this is more about redemption for Haye than anything else, he will have something to prove this time. This fight needs to happen, there is nothing interesting happing in boxing at the moment.

Vitali-Haye is the second biggest fight in world boxing and one that Haye should be heavily favoured in. Vitali has lost more than a few steps in recent years and is slower than treacle.

 

he won't though, he has not got the balls or heart to go in and fight it out, in a hard battle, he just wants more money, i have friends who are very very rich, and they still go out to try and get more, makes no difference.

Have to agree with this, Haye should be Moneymaker not Hayemaker that's why he has retired to get Vitali to call him out and make another 10 million in another runfest.

no mate not being negative, just dont think Haye deserves it, even if it is the biggest HW match=up that can be made, no good for boxing if Haye is just running all night, and some rounds does not even throw a punch , then collect a few million and then makes excuses,

if Haye would not be given his purse unless he put up a good effort then ok i would believe him,

but for sure he aint going to try, will be same as in Wlad fight but even more timid,

Better then any other fight in the division, why not. Haye must be feeling embarassed after the Wlad fight.

 

I predicated Haye would lose when alot on here said he would win, I also said David should take on Vitali as he has a better chance since Vitali is less accurate and not as co-coordinated.

If the fight had happend earlier say around 2009 then I believe Haye would have won, but he has regressed whereas Vitali has stayed the same.


David Haye is a pot shot power puncher, he relies on reflex, speed to dart in and out against taller men. The problem is Haye punch out put is really low, even for a heavyweight....it barely got him by Valuev, it worked against an outside top 20 in Harrison (crap fight) and came unstuck against Wlad.

If Haye was fighting Adamek or Povetkin, he would knock both guys out quicker than the Klitschko as he is more aggressive with guys his own size coupled with hard punching speed.

I just dont think Haye believes in himself come fight time on stamina issues...he is of the impression if he throws too many he will lose by gassing out.

What I didnt know was that Haye would throw even less against Wlad, and be even more hesitant, so against a meaner Vitali it isnt going to work. Another concern was that Haye technically was even wilder, its as if from the Macca fight, he throws less an less, and get worse technically.

I feel the fight will be Vitali really going after Haye far more than Wlad did, with David moving extra fast, dodging and diving out the way making the fight look a bit comical. The fight will be even more boring than Wlad-Haye...Vitali will chase him around the ring with Haye every now and then catching him with a power punch...to which Vitali will throw 3 or 4 arm punches hitting Hayes glove, shoulder but not smack in the face just catching anywhere, when Haye gets stuck in the corner...in fact I see Haye catching Vitali with harder punches but say 3 or 4 times, compared to Vitali catching Haye with a good 60 to 70 medium level punches.

Vitali in my mind will win UD over him, again Haye reflexes along with negativity will allow him breathing room every-time he is hurt...Vitali just doesn't have the co-ordination to catch him often enough.

I am British and would have loved Haye to win against Wlad, i wanted him to win,

and if Haye had lost but have gone in like he said he would, and gone for it, then yes he would have every right to asking for Vitali fight.

but i just cant see him doing anything other than BLACK2023 post.

just dont think he has it in him (anymore)
