I would have problems with a couple of the refs posters suggested.

Nuemann worked the first Abraham/Miranda fight, and that should be all we need to know.

Reiss worked Kessler/Ward. Ward did more than enough to get DQed, but only got one warning the entire fight.

Absolutely true about Neuman. Even by boxing standards he is dirty.

Additionally; If Haye cancels at this point for any reason he should be stripped of his title and dropped from the rankings. It would be interesting to see what if anything would be done if Haye did cancel AGAIN!

    Probably nothing...:-(

Has Haye made a career of doing this? Holding and hitting, AND rabbit punching is ILLEGAL!

Lol holding is illegal man. Why does ref always say "stop holding"? If holding is legal then boxing will be more like ufc.

Ever since Haye has move up, he has done plently of rabbit punching. I guess you missed the Barrett and Ruiz fights huh?

I'm not in the habit of worrying about holding and hitting or rabbit punches-some you guys are. The world will be watching. Neither will get away with that ****. May the best man win.

It's not an accusation when he's been tried and found guilty and penalized for it.

When has Wlad ever been deducted points for holding? He's had nearly 60 fights with world class referee's, and all have ignored the rules according to you?

I understand you just want an excuse for when Haye gets laid out, it's ok.

Here, I'll repeat it just special for little you - and the ref says, "stop holding" because that's his job. You don't see the ref issuing warnings or deducting points for normal holding do you!?

While I didn't like Neumann's extemely repetative and borderline harassing "do you want to fight?" to a guy who speaks little English, Golota was in a world of trouble in the late rounds, so the questions were valid imo. Damn that was a hell of a fight.

Well how about Haye deserves to get a referre that won't let Wlad grab him over and over but not one that'll allow him to rabbit punch. Can we at least agree to that. The cleaner the fight the better it is for everybody (except for them maybe).

Haye should be concerned about the referee because of Wald's style and vise versa.

Also yes EXCESSIVE holding is illegal.

That fight was too bizarre, and the aftermath (unpublicized in the USA) was even more so. But Foreman was rightfully irate over Neuman's harrassment of Golota at the BEGINNING of the fight when he was winning. I also saw Neuman fail to call several knockdowns of Byrd that Golota made in that fight, one of two where he was robbed of the championship, the other being Ruiz. Always with Randy Neuman on his back!

That's just ****ed up. They are using the referee situation to keep the WBA title in case Haye loses. That's beyond ****ed up. Did anyone notice if Haye brought his belt to the press conference? I don't think I saw it.
