The (Super) WBA title will be on the line if the WBA approves all officials and if they get paid their sanction fees. Very simple. Nothing Haye can do against it.

I understand Booth is trying to sway the WBA to reject the ref but they'd look pretty stupid if they did. I doubt the WBA wants another farce like Valuev - Chagaev where the fight breaks apart Friday night before fight night.

There really isn't much the WBA can do to further diminish their value, so I doubt it would be stopping them from letting Haye keep the title if he loses to Klitschko.

And it's not like they haven't done it before, mind you. Wasn't Chagaev the WBA champ when he fought Wlad?

Rightly or wrongly, Muhammad Ali and Lennox Lewis used holding as much as Wladimir does, it's funny that Wlad's holding is already being used as an excuse by Haye supporters.

Haye says he's immune to the jab-and-grab style anyway, so at least he's not using that yet as his excuse.

People are only looking at Wlad's holding which I don't think is a big issue. Watch Wlad - Thompson, it's not so much the holding itself that I see as being the problem but Wlad systematically pushed down Thompson's head. That's illegal and he should have been deducted a point or two.

He'll do the same with Haye and that will make Haye helplessly stumble forward into Wlad's chest. Not that I feel sorry for Haye.

Everyone goes in the ring knowing what the opponent will likely try to get away with, and you have to be prepared. There's limits to what a "different referee" will do.

Anyway, Wlad's not jabbing and grabbing his way to some decision on Saturday night, he's going to flatten Haye with devastating punches, and deep down everyone knows it.
