Again, Vlad Vs. Haye would have already happened if Haye had not backed out of a signed contract with Vlad, refused to provide any proof of injury as required.

Stupid things like that Wlad wanted the red corner. I mean, come on. Seriously? How incredibly petty is that and the sad thing is, I truly think that if Haye had said no, the fight would have fallen apart over these petty issues. It's just a shame. Haye made every concession that Wlad wanted and it still wasn't enough.

I've mentioned this before and, to me, it's the negotiations summed up in one small aspect of the actual negotiations. Wlad first said "I'll fight Haye anywhere in the world" and fans lapped it up saying "See? Wlad will fight Haye anywhere, Haye isn't accepting, Haye's a coward" and then the truth came out. Las vegas was proposed and it was a huge "no". The guys terminology fits exactly to what Booth has said about him, even relating to the petty issues like the corner. Look at this:

"I can tell you unequivocally that we are not even considering Las Vegas as being among the cities where Wladimir Klitschko can fight Haye. Moreover, our plans do not include carrying the fight to America."

Unequivocally? So even if it made 10x as much money, they wouldn't consider it? That's bull**** considering Wlad said he'd fight "Anywhere".

Anyway, that quote is from a response because shortly after Boente initially said "Not in Vegas", Haye and GBP suggested somewhere else in America, probably New York and then Boente says, unequivocally, "not in America". Again, despite Wlad saying he'd fight Haye "anywhere".

Haye then obviously asked for Britain where it would sell more tickets, each individual ticket would be at a higher price and the pound is stronger than the Euro. The fight makes financial sense to take place at Wembley and what happened? Wlad wouldn't budge.

In the end, Haye accepted a German venue but it should be remember that Wlad said at one point, that he'd fight "anywhere". That's just an absolute lie but people believed it and they used it to slag Haye off.

Honestly, I'm probably a bigger fan of Wlad's than I am of Haye. That will surprise people who have read my recent posts but I truly believe that the Klitschko's negotiating tactics are disgusting and it annoys me that people constantly believe them. No matter what Haye does, he's faulted for, even accepting everything Wlad asked for, and no matter what **** Wlad pulls, it is considered right. That's complete bull**** and it's impossible to defend Klitschko in this case.

If you want even more proof of bull****, going back to the start, Boente could have just accepted the request for public negotiations...but he didn't. If he has nothing to hide, why not just accept? People would have seen how petty their demands have been and he obviously didn't want that.

Even if what you say is true who cares? Haye can chuck his worthless belt, he's retiring anyway. By fighting Wlad the champ in July and beating him he will be seen as the number 1 man in the division.

I think if haye were to vacate the belt there is a chance wlad may not fight haye, he'll fight whoever picks up the belt haye vacated. With all the negotiating difficulties that scenario could well happen.

There are some people who really think the Klits are these invincle Ivan Drago warriors who everyone is scared of, and that Wlad Klitschko is the most dangerous fighter since Tyson, even though he's been destroyed 3 times by b-level fighters. Outside of boxing message boards and the hardcore fans, no-one cares about Klitschko, and no-one even cares about Heavyweight boxing any more because he's a boring fighter and a charisma free zone.

I don't know why Klitschko fans are unable to ever criticise their man. It's so frustrating.
