Then tough tits. That's down to the K brothers. You cant turn round and say "Our deal isnt as good as yours so... we want some of yours please."
Does klit even fight on ppv in germany?? I dont think they do ppv but could be wrong on that one, as far as i know he gets a set amount per fight with his contract. Haye demanding 100% of ppv in the UK is the problem, remember the fact he is fighting the number 1 guy ring champ with belts etc is bringing a lot to the table and cannot be ignored, haye has done very little in the division and is not even willing to accept 50%?? Is he crazy or something? 50/50 is an amazingly generous offer from klit but not for him obviously, people defending him just encourage him, so much for wanting the biggest fights, rubbish imo. He wants to earn more than klit for the fight LOL and wont even take 50/50, unbelieveable!! Hes mad and bad for boxing at this stage, or else all talk and no intention of fighting these guys, or both
Dude, seriously. What do you mean "turning around", are you smoking crack or maybe you're just playing games with me? 1. Haye says "I want 50-50 or no deal" 2. Wlad "50-50, sounds good let's do it" 3. Haye says "Wait a second, I changed my mind, I want more than 50%". 4. Wlad says "Sorry, no deal then. I want 50% of all money like we previously discussed". Now who is turning around? From all I see the only guy changing is mind is Haye, not Wlad. Correct me if I am wrong. If Haye thinks 50-50 is unfair he should have NEVER mentioned it. That's the end of the entire discussion.
So, basically the whole issue is that Wlad accepts that Haye brings in a huge chunk of money from the UK. Condition of a 50-50 on that is that the German TV rights are auctioned off to the highest bidder. How is this unfair? It's not Haye's responsibility that Wlad has a deal with RTL, so why should his earnings be limited by it? If Wlad has a golden handcuffs with RTL, then that's his issue. If Haye can't negotiate on that point, the deal is NOT 50-50. I don't see how the counter offer is unfair, except to the greedy brothers.
I agree, perhaps he shouldnt of? But these things happen in negotiations. Still, what is wrong with the current offer?
Wlad is equally to blame because he wants to divide everything up 50%-50%?:rofl:rofl Wow, some of you guys have really lost touch with reality.
Haye is to blame. 50/50 of a huge pot of millions of dollars is the fair offer. Both guys will drive the interest in the fight even in the UK. Don't know all the figures, but even if the UK ppv would be the bulk of the money made on the fight (anybody really know an estimate of where the total revenue would come from?), a counter offer of 60/40 in favor of haye for the uk ppv money would've been tons fairer than saying haye keeps 100%. Haye's camp don't want the fight/potential loss now for several reasons
Hysterical! Why did Haye never mention in April that he wants to "auction off " German TV rights, knowing that would be completely off limits because RTL would drag the Klitschkos to court and enforce their exclusive agreement. Haye knew all this, and yet he demanded "just" 50-50 of all revenues in April without ever mentioning he's unhappy with RTL. A few short weeks later he suddenly turns around and wants to ditch RTL for ARD or alternativly wants more than 50% :deal
Nothing wrong with Haye's demand. If I was Wlad I would just be extremely pissed off that after you comply with your arch enemy's initial demand and offer him an even 50-50 split he suddenly changes his tune and wants more money. It does not exactly reflect well on Haye's seriousness about getting the fight done. All the while the IBF is in Wlad's neck with a deadline that forces him to either find an agreement with Haye or go into a purse bid with Povetkin (who incidentally is also managed by Sauerland, Haye's co-promoter). I understand Haye's reluctance to sell himself below his self-perceived value, knowing that he has to split a chunk of his money with Sauerland. But honestly, how would you have reacted if you were in Wlad's shoes in this specific situation? And once you agree to the most recent demands, how would you make sure Haye doesn't change his tune yet again and demands even more?
There is nothing more to it than that. Wlad is the established Champion, and he is still willing to split everything 50-50 in respect to David Haye's paper title that really belongs to Wlad for beating the true WBA Champ Chagaev anyways. He is not asking for any options.... and he is willing to split 50-50.... there is nothing that can be said for David Haye in this matter. If Haye gets to keep all of the UK money.... as if nobody in the UK is a fan of Wlad... then Wlad should be able to keep all of the German money.... including the gate. Does that sound fair to you? I mean... Wlad is the draw in Germany.... and he is a much bigger draw period. Wlad sells out 50,000-60,000 seat stadiums when he fights in Germany... even when he is fighting the no draw Eddie Chambers. So.... why should Haye get 100% of the UK money, and also a large portion of the German money.... while Wlad only gets his shared portion of the German money? Haye couldn't even secure a venue for this fight in London ffs, yet he deserves to keep all of the UK money, and also get half of Wlad's gate in Germany? I can't believe you waterheads actually think that David Haye now deserves to make more money than Wlad.:rofl:rofl:rofl BTW... I am glad that I am not your manager too. I would be broke as **** trying to manage someone's message board posting career.
If? Wlad is so big in germany he fills football stadions!! 61000 against Chagaev. World wide record for an indoor boxing event! 14 Millions on TV!
yes, both fighters are to blame. quick question though: does anyone really believe that haye would take the fight if he got the TV rights as requested? I find it hard to believe. If wlad gave him the tv rights he'd move down to the next non-negoitiable demand. my opinion anyway
