IMO, these are the best four best heavys at the moment other than the Klitschkos.

Who is the best of the bunch?

    Please vote and explain.

Let me try and break it down.

    1. Haye- very explosive, great combination of hand speed and power, his drawbacks are questionable guard, and a not so good chin, he is clearly the most talented out of the bunch, and noone is questioning his skills, the chin at Heavyweight is the big mystery that will soon be solved.

    2. Povetkin- solid contender, great amatuer background, above average in almost every aspect. He seems a little apprehensive about fighting Wlad and that makes me think he lacks confidence in his abilities.

    3. Chagaev- I used think the world of this guy, good hooker, good fundamentals, and a tough fight for most in th division. I have not seen him in against a class fighter since Valuev in april or may of 07, and he looked pretty bad against Skeleton last year. I just wonder if all the sicknesses/injuries finally caught up with him.

    4. Arreola- I dont think much of this fighter, slow, plodding at times, easy to hit, his only redeeming quality is his power, and yes, he does have it, I believe he can change a fight with one punch. I dont think he's ready for a top level guy, he just reminds me of a poor mans Sam Peter when I watch him.

I think it has got to be Haye. Reason being is that I think he would beat Povetkin and Arreola. I also pick him to beat Vitali as I think Vitali is too old, hasn't boxed anybody that is competitive in four years going on five and is anpther year older.

Chagaev is too injury prone and I think his skills might have diminished from all of the layoffs and injuries.

    1. Chagaev (if he's 100%)
    2. Povetkin
    3. Haye

I don't care of the rest tbh, I think Juan Carlos Gomez is a lot better than David Haye.

Haye is a joke, wait till June and you will all get my point, I'm not even getting into an arguement about this.

Povetkin and Chagaev are good fighters.

Chagaev is a good fighter, but his injuries/sicknesses have set him back, and I believe he will lose to Valuev if they fight again.

Povetkin is afraid of Wlad, he keeps backing out every chance he gets, thats not someone who feels confident in his abilities. Haye on the other hand is more of a man than either one of them, he already called out Wlad, and he wanted nothing to do with him, so he passed him off to his big brother, somethings never change.

Haye is the best simply because the 3 Eastern fighters arent active enough and dont have the speed and explosiveness, and Arreola is just a bucket of Ice Cream waiting to get smeared all over the mat.

    Haye is best.
Has more power and more speed a combination of both more than any other heavyweight out there.

haye is the best of those 4, he has pretty much everything but a tight defence, yet to see chin truly tested at heavy, but doubt it would have improved much from cruiser. i think haye will suprise vitali for the first few rounds, and will be ahead on points before getting stopped.

In full agreement with everything you have said:good

Haye has had 2 fights as a heavy 1 against Tomasz Bonin and the 2nd against Barrett who is a bordeline top 20 heavy.

Povetkin is a far mor worthy contender as is Gomez.

    Of those you mentioned...

    Povetkin
    Chagaev
    Arreola
    Haye

However, I also see Ibragimov beating both Arreola, and Haye. I also see Eddie Chambers beating Haye, possibly Arreola as well. Tony Thompason gives them all fits, may beat them all.

 Wlad hits harder than Haye.

Wlad a far easier time disposing of a peak Monte Barret than Haye had with an old, shot Barrett. Haye was wild in that fight.
