    They have a contracted rate.

This is the whole reason regarding the negotiations breaking down , they want the PPV's in the UK but the Haye camp have told them to negotiate with their own TV station.

The Klitchko's gain a massive 18 - 20% of the viewing public in Germany and sell out stadiums, but they are contracted and definately do not get any further monies.

But on a positive with this contract both brothers fight quite frequently for heavyweights.

PPV's are the reason why Floyd was the second highest paid sportsman in the US in 2009.

David Haye needs to stop ****ing about and fight a Klitschko NOW. No excuses no ducks just get it done.

He is fast turning into the biggest waste of time in Boxing. His last 3 PPVs were total dog****.

Dont wait 9 months, you shouldnt need a rest after that farce with Harrison. Either he fights one of them very soon or he needs to **** off with the money hes made because hes a ****ing ducker who talks pure **** but does **** all

If Haye does not want Chagaev, a pursebid for a Chagev fight is pointless. If Chagaev's people want to win the pursebid to have the fight in a place that allows sick men to fight; Haye could easily have his people outbid Chagaev's people knowing very well that Chagaev would have to pull out of the fight. Haye could offer up a billion dollars to stage the fight in the UK, but he could do that knowing he won't have to pay any of it because the fight would be canceled.

You are just talking about tv money, of course Haye makes more because he rips off his fans charging them £15 to watch him beat up on geriatrics but you seem to be forgetting that tv money is not the only source of income generated from a fight. Still no links...

    I called it!!!

But really, so did several others. You would be a moron think Haye would take a risk against a live contender like Chageav.

    look for:

David Haye/Evander Holyfield ...as the circus goes on and on.

    :deal

I hope the WBA pressures Haye and kicks his ass. Either Chagaev or Klitschko or strip this villain.

I haven't researched what Haye made, but your figures for Wlad (9 million over 3 fights) seem a bit low to me.

Wlad - Peter: Original opponent was Povetkin and K2 won the purse bid, with a bid of $8,313,000. Approx 6,200,000 of that was to go to Wladimir, and that does not include his TV money from RTL. We don't know the Peter terms....but as far as Wladimir's cut....probably not far off.

Wlad - Chambers: I believe this was something like 45,000 fans, plus TV, gotta be several million

Wlad - Chagaev: Around 60,000 fans, plus TV, I'm sure he made several million

i want to see haye vs either

    vitali, chagaev, solis, povetkin next.

wlad should be his retirement fight IMO, the pinnacle of his career.

Truth be told it would also be good to see him against thompson, chambers, arreola but he would receive so much stick it wouldn't be worth it. he needs to fight one of the listed next.
