Has he proved anything though? I'll be honest, as comprehensive a win as it is, I don't really think we learned a whole lot.

He took a few punches from Barrett and his chin held up; alright, Barrett not the biggest HW hitter but haye still took the punches.

He knocked Barrett down....what?....five times! Good for him.

Overall it was a damn good first proper foray into the HW scene.

Haye didn't look as relaxed as he normally does, and the punches didn't flow and they weren't as accurate as they would normally be, but I was very impressed. I think he will be even better in his next fight.

Where the bloody hell did Steve Bunce get that suit from?

That top from a while ago was bad enough, but this is something else. Is it a hand-me-down from Vitaly?

I'm sure Barry just looked at it and smirked.....

Feel a bit bad for Monte. That guy still fights to feed his kids and has had a tough life. He went out on his shield though and David looked stellar in a very convincing win. Not sure how much we can make from it as Monte is at the end of his career but it was a solid debut and his power is certainly there.

Barrett was hand picked and only the WBO put him the top 10 for Haye to pick.

Suprised how Barrett went down 5 times and got up, Haye usually KO's them with one KD so his power might not be as good and Barrett's shot.

Haye doesn't throw much either and relies on that telegraphed right, otherwise he moves around with no defence so Is his stamina still In question?

Both Klitschko's won;t wait for him to throw rights and move around bobbing with no defence.

Now that the dust has settled well sort of i can honestly say that was a very impressive display by the Hayemaker! he outgunned 2 guns and took a couple of shots himself, Barrett is know journeyman hes been in with quality opponents, Haye looked fantastic and understandbly he got tired towards the end.. he was knocking Barrett down and going for the kill what do you expect mcgwigan? Hayemaker has arrived and not many people will relish fighting him.
