Potentially he could. It all depends on the speed of his fist on delivery, the weight of his arm and fist, his balance, and how he is shifting his body weight at the time of impact. The man is massive, and appears to lack speed, but you also need to consider to the great majority of guys that agree to fight him run for their lives for several rounds, which forces Valuev to take power off his punches and just play tag with them.

No thanks its all fine. I'm sure everybody will agree that getting some numbers on boxrec proves your point. Also sure being bigger ALWAYS means more power. Because like you said, there is also ACCELERATION. Eveybody knows Valuev is very fast. ko ratio 66%. For a 310 lbs guy?
Yes, he also did ko a LOT of top guys.

No really, thanks for your help.

Read post 80. Please tell me you don't honestly think David Haye can punch harder than Valuev.

i never said that. One thing for sure, you cant go by that logic:

"if Barret took punches from a 300+lb monster named Valuev for 11 rounds before being stopped, he sure as hell can take punches from a 217 lb blown up cruiser weight."

Because Haye's punches will be much more harder to avoid. Also saying that if ko power was only related to weight, Valuev would not have only 66% ratio.

You are predicting a 3rd round ko for barret? Hey everything is possible! But it looks like you have some hate motivating that pick.

You also have to consider that Valuev has been fighting heavyweights, not cruiser weights and again, that many of his opponents have run for their lives. What's the average weight of Haye opponents vs Valuev's? Also, Valuev is so damn tall, he has to reach down to hit his targets, while Haye is almost always eye level punching. Let me put it this way, If both Haye and Valuev were asked to hit a stationary heavy bag as hard as they could who do you think would deliver the harder blow?

Enzo Macarenelli stopped a cruiserweight in Dominguez where
Valuev went the distance with the same guy...Valuev just isnt the puncher you think he is.

I thought Barrett and Valuev had some good exchanges.

Maybe because like Boxfan says: everyone is so scared of the monster they run away.
When Valuev gets a chance to exchange, he hurts people.
