I think it's a fair column and I agree with a lot of it, even though I don't think Haye is to blame for the negotiations falling apart this time around. I don't know how anyone can disagree with the notion that the best should fight the best and that's what's at the core of this article.

Agreed, he's British so talking about haye as opposed to the klits so much.

    I'm sure I heard/read joeg doesn't even like warren?

It would be nice for someone to criticise wladimir but they'd only be called biased anyway...

See the Degale Groves article on the front page for an example.

I dont know why Frank didn't sign it himself. It's really weird when he refers to himself in the third person!!!:yep

I wrote one. Doubt I'm allowed to post the link, but it's called Everyone Loses. I blame both guys for what's happened - unlike a lot of people who blame Haye above all else and give Wlad and Vitali a pass on anything they've done.

don't listen to DFTaylor Joe. He is a good poster but when it comes to Haye you might as well just ignore him.

Did you know that two division world champion David Haye has had four fights LESS than European champion John Murray?

    True story.

Rob - the day you get to tell me about balance and objectivity is the day I quit writing for a living. You’re a complete tool.

you mean in the balnaced article you wrote about Haye vs Klitscko negotiations where you never mentioned...

    • Haye signing for the fight previously and not turning up
    • Haye being offerd the same deal in May 2009 as last month and turning it down
    • Haye continuously calling out Klitscko for 3 years now but failing to get the fight
    • The Klitscko claim of Haye refusing to fight Vitali
    • That Klitscko unlike Haye has a hisotry of filling 50,000+ in arenas unlike Haye
you also stated that Chisora is as bad an opponent as Audley and that Haye brings 4 times the amount of money to the table as a Klitscko.

your a very very good boxing writer but your opinion on Haye is as bias towards him and Dan Rafaels is towards a Klitscko.

and please point out to me where I have ever shown bias?? Have asked you many times and you can't do it.

Rob, I'd need to search through all of yours and your previous alias' comments. Frankly I haven't the time or inclination when I'm fully aware of how biased you are. Spending months calling a company Hayeducker is pretty much all the proof I need.

The bullets you put are peripheral to the point of the article. Prior behaviour has nothing to do with current behaviour (although I did pick this up in a later news round-up, and briefly at the end of the piece) and, if I included them, I'd be clearly favouring the brothers' side of the story.

I never stated that Haye makes four times more than Wlad - I quoted Booth saying it. I quoted Boente since he was the only pro-K2 source out there, but it was pretty slim picking.

Haye calling out the brothers has very little to do with anything - he made all the concessions to make the fight happen, bar one this time around. Call-outs count for nothing, quite honestly.

I don't think anyone could really say Chisora's any more deserving of a title fight than Harrison was. He's a domestic-level fighter whose best win is over Sam Sexton. He's as bad an opponent - can't see anything wrong with saying that. I didn't say Harrison was good, did I?

The 50-50 stuff – well, I’m not sure what your point is. Haye didn’t accept it before – so what? That’s then, this is now. He accepted it NOW and Wlad said no. Does Wlad get a moral victory or something for being ditched at the altar?

    Of course not.

There's been a statement from Steward (which is probably the closest to the truth we'll get) and an interview with Wlad since then - but I'm not going to rework the article on a constant basis: the site's not called Hayewatch. Frankly, I'm not covering any of it anymore until something new happens.

The next real coverage either man gets will be in their next fight, or if I can get an interview (which I'm working on).

That's a quote from what I wrote - hardly absolving Haye of blame, is it?

Balanced doesn't mean agreeing with your point of view. It means presenting the parties in a fair way, so both sides of the story are heard. I believe both are to blame for this mess. Very simple. I don't give Haye a pass, but I don't give Wlad one either.

its the only negative thing i have ever seen you write about Haye. When it comes to him your judgement is clouded. end of story.
