Haye beating Wlad or Froch beating Ward..

    Can't agree, bigger event yes but Froch beating Ward is a bigger achievement i think. Ok Wlad is on this huge run where he hasn't lost since the Brewster fight and not even dropped many rounds, but he is still the same guy who has lost 3 times and hit the canvas loads. Nobody has come close to beating Ward.

    Haye beating Vlad.

    Froch has actually beaten some very good super middleweights and his one loss was very very competitive

    Haye has 'beaten' Valuev, and sparked Barrett, Harrison and Ruiz. If he was a ****** fighter he would be getting murdered for that leevl of opposition

    Wlad may be the better single win, but then again Ward may well go down as the greater fighter when all is said and done.

    Neither will win anyway, but Froch will do better than Haye IMO.

    Haye beating Wladimir would be a greater acheivement, Wlad is a proven dominant force and the odds are stacked heavily in the favour of him.

    Haye beating Wlad is a taller task than Froch beating Ward.

    Win or lose to Froch i think Ward is going to go to be 1 of the best fighters of his era. So if Froch beats him, a bit like Calzaghe with Hopkins, he may have to wait a few years to get real recognition for it because Ward is going to dominate for years anyway.

    Just want to say I reckon Haye has the way bigger chance than Froch does. Can't see it happening for Froch at all, whereas Haye could do it, although Wlad should be favoured I'd say.

    if Froch did beat Ward, he'd topple Haye big time. His run at 168 is far stronger than Haye at Cruiser/Heavy, and Wlad has 'dominated' a **** div'.

    Froch has truly run the gauntlet. Single win, yes. In terms of greater achievment, he'll supercede Haye big time IMO.

    I think we're looking at from different angles...

    Looking solely at the task in hand, Haye has a tougher obstacle to overcome in Wlad than Froch has in Ward.

    Wlad has been beaten up, dropped and ultimately lost to Sanders and Brewster, 2 fighters who im sure you would agree are not technically as good as Haye and probably don't punch as hard. Froch and McCracken have the huge task of coming up with a way to beat Ward. We know how Haye will have to fight to beat Wlad, we can't say we know what Froch has to do to beat Ward.

    Haye has a tougher fight and has alot more riding on it. In the boxing fraternity Froch will go down as a legend whatever happens in the ward fight but if Haye loses he wont.
