Without a doubt if Haye fight VK and Haye wins and becomes WBC HW champ, a rematch with wlad would be the biggest fight the divison could get. Somebody will be leaving with all the belts. Final unification fight.

I didnt think the haye vs wlad fight was all that bad. I enjoyed it. Haye is a good fighter. I believe 3rd best in the world. Great skills. Need to take more chances vs wlad. If he beats VK (eitherway still gonna be a goodfight bring on Haye vs Wlad 2 would be massive draw again. HUGE.

One think I like about haye is that he can throw a bomb that actually can do damage:deal

Im not saying he is gonna win. Im saying if he does.

Haye's not beat Vitali. This won't be very different from the Wladimir/Haye fight in terms of action/activity.

Haye will be defensive all the way and throwing only when necessary while barely landing enough, Vitali will press the attack and land more till the 12th round rings and Vitali wins a decision. If Haye decides to open up and keep throwing, he will only risk getting knocked out or getting tired and eventually TKO'd and Haye knows this. As a heavyweight Haye doesn't have the stamina to trouble someone like Vitali. To beat Vitali you need a fighter who's active.

LOL at the Hayefaker beating Vitali.

Come fight time, despite Vitali being 42 years old, he will be the one to retire Haye. Not vice versa. :deal

I can't see Haye beating Wlad...Wlad looks very robotic and stiff, but he's actually surprisingly quick on his feet for his division. Every time Haye jumped in Wlad would jump backwards and lean away at the same time, making it very difficult to land any clean shots.

I did notice (at one point in round three) that Haye had more success when he actually doubled up his attack. His usual style was simply to leap in with one or two shots, clumsily miss, and then back away again. On one occasion, however, he actually followed Wlad as he moved back and fired extra shots, which Wlad wasn't expecting. They didn't land cleanly, but it made contact.

I think the key is that Wlad doesn't shift quickly between defence to offence. (Like, for example, Mayweather, who rolls and counters.) Wlad (at least in the Haye fight) only wanted to avoid the blows, wait for them to end, and then come back jabbing at Haye again. He wasn't interested in quickly countering Haye or exploiting his aggression/wildness, as it's too risky to punch until he's sure that the opponent's offence has ended. That can be a weakness, if you just follow him as he moves back and double up your attack.

That being said, I just don't think Haye is good enough to get the job done. Wlad's jab, his height/reach, cautiousness, sense of distance and his surprising quickness will always make it difficult for Haye to connect.

I thought Haye already targeted the "weaker brother" and lost.

Wlad definitely has the weaker chin...

But he is much quicker, and much more powerful than Vitali. Haye will be more comfortable opening up against Vitali once he feels him out for a couple of rounds. And we have no idea if Vitali will age overnight once he gets in the ring with Haye...

I think it will be a lot closer than some people think.

I'll give you that it will be different. Vitali is such a different animal than Wlad. I just hope Haye shows up in the right frame of mind.

Vitali's feet have slowed down dramatically, that gives Haye a chance, but he must be perfect both physically and mentally.

No matter what anyone says the fact is

Vitali vs Haye is the best HW match up that can be made, it will answer the question who really is the #2 guy in the division right now.

For me, Haye definitely takes this going by Vitali's performances and how he has looked the last couple years, his best chance is to win by decision IMO as i cannot see Vitali knocking Haye out, don't see how he can, not fast enough to land the shots, foot speed is dire.

After that if a Wlad/Haye rematch happens should Haye win then fair enough, Haye did better than anyone else Wlad has fought since his embarrassing defeats, and that was an off night for Haye, Wlad himself was not very impressive (is he ever?)

If haye had another shot , I think it wouod be different. Take more chances .

Only haye has the speed and power and boxing skills to get to wlads chin.
