There simply isnt the competition level to match Lewis's achievements. Even if he cleared out the Heavyweight division he still wouldnt have done what Lewis did.
Then don't bother contributing you *****. Some of your stupidity just beggars belief, it really does. atsch
For the uneducated ****wits amongst us, let me just state for the record that I didnt actually think that Haye would supersede Lewis if he unified. This was a letter written in Boxing News that I personally disagreed with but wanted to see if I was out to lunch at all. Its quite humorous watching the ****ing idiots that have jumped in with both feet without actually thinking before typing. I make a thread like this and the village idiots chuck their dummies out of the pram but when a numerous thread such as "Haye beats Klitschko" are made then there seems to be some debate. I was interested in what the forum thought as there is a lot of hype around Haye and his assault on the heavyweight division.
My point exactly. I don't think Wlad's resume comes close to Lewis yet so I can't see that Haye's would (if he unifies).
The whole idea of entertaining this is asinine. Haye is barely out of the gates. Lets see how he does against some top teir heavies first. To "wonder" if he will be better than Lewis does two thing: 1. Wastes time 2. Builds up (for the ******s here) an unnecessarry expectation
Your missing the point. The thread isn't looking at Haye's potential at heavyweight but whether if he unifies, his achievements would equal or even supersede what Lewis achieved. Lets say he unifies in devestating fashion - does that mean he has done a better job that Lewis? In my opinion it doesn't.
Way to early for this kind of comparison. But say Haye did unify...he would have done so in a weaker division than Lewis mixed in.
I doubt Haye can outbox Chagaev, handle Peter's power, or take a straight right hand from Wlad. I see him getting ko'd in a fight against any of the current three champions. Hell, I see him getting ko'd in a fight against any of the current mandatories. Haye simply isn't the answer that everyone is looking for. He is not "the one".
Here is Haye in real deep trouble against a natural SMW with nothing spectacular to offer: [YT]<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XMXaNd9InlQ&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XMXaNd9InlQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>[/YT] I like Haye and he is a monster at CW but against Wlad, Povetkin and the likes I just dont see him doing full 12 rounds.
